One of their most popular songs ASAP has a pleasing rocking move that guides viewers with moves that flow into each other.

The energy in this bubblegum pop hit guides listeners along. The song pulls the beat taut with each verse until it snaps during the chorus. The beat then explodes into cheerful confetti as the members easily hit each clean dance move.

This pulling then breaking of the beat appears in much of STAYC’s signature music like in their future bass TikTok hit Stereotype and their unique choreography-heavy song Run2U. You’re sure to enjoy the switch-ups and fun-filled tunes of STAYC.

If you didn’t know, STAYC stands for “Star to a Young Culture.” You can purchase STAYC’s album Staydom on Amazon.

Their hits like ElevenLove Dive, and After Like have charted high on charts. Their debut song Eleven even took up the number one most streamed song on South Korean YouTube for five consecutive weeks. It’s their members of course! Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo come together to make a complete and flawless girl group. (G)I-dle Members

  • Yuqi
  • Shuhua
  • Minnie
  • Miyeon

Who doesn’t love seeing Korean girls rocking outfits that pay homage to 1990s black American culture? Well, that’s what you get with one of my favorite (G)I-dle music videos entitled “Uh Oh,” which you can watch below.

But it hasn’t always been an easy ride for (G)I-dle.  In fact, (G)I-dle originally had a sixth member named Soojin.  Unfortunately, Soojin left the band in 2021 and the group has maintained operation as a five member girl group ever since.

So here’s the bottom line on Le Sserafim: this was a K pop group that originally had six members.  The sixth member of Le Sserafim was named Kim Ga-ram.  But as Le Sserafim was preparing for their debut, Kim Ga-ram was removed from the group.  Since then, Le Sserafim has carried on as a five member female group.

You can buy Le Sserafim’s photobook on Amazon.

7) Momoland (Years Active: 2016 to 2023)

Momoland Members

  • Ahin
  • Hyebin
  • Jane
  • Nayun
  • JooE
  • Nancy

Momoland has had a lot of members in its group. At one point, it was nine girls in the group. Momoland eventually trimmed down to seven members. Then Momoland shrunk down to just six members.

This brightly colored six-member group cannot be beaten with their famous electro swing. Their songs Baam and Bboom Bboom are total dance hits as they get you on your feet to dance. They have catchy beats plus tons of fun dance moves that get you hopping around. The members Ahin, Hyebin, Jane, JooE, Nancy, and Nayun are also overflowing with energy in every single performance.

The group’s famous performance of Bboom Bboom on the South Korean broadcast M Countdown has over 31 million views. The most viewed portion of the video is the group’s chorus dance where the girls sway from side to side. Their dances are simple and fun!

With how fun these girls are, listening to their music is a must. They have tons of energy and fun to share with you, so go take a listen!

Unfortunately for Momoland, the group disbanded in early 2023 and just barely fell short of staying active for an entire seven years.

Still, if you want to relieve Momoland’s glory days, you can buy a 76-page Momoland photobook on Amazon.

Meanwhile, I’m Ill and Sticky Sticky have cheeky fun POVs and storylines in their music videos that are shocking, yet humorous.

Come by and say hello to Hello Venus by watching their music videos and listening to their music. They can make your life a tad less serious, filling it with something silly and fun!

Like many K-Pop groups, April saw a lot of turnover of its members.  But that didn’t stop the band from having success.  April even made a song for television (specifically for a show called “My Strange Hero”).

While April lasted for six years, the group sadly went silent in 2021.  In early 2022, it was announced the group would disband entirely following lots of bad media attention.

With many groups forcing rappers into their lineup to fit with trends, GFriend has stayed true to their roots as six incredible vocalists and intricate dancers.

Their vocals shine in the songs RoughApple, and their iconic retro song MagoRough has become a K-pop classic that won best female dance performance at multiple end-of-the-year award shows.

The song also became one of the most downloaded songs in South Korean music history, earning GFriend recognition for their success. Then, Apple is a regal and elegant song sure to make anyone feel like royalty. Finally, Mago is airy-beautiful retro with a colorful rainbow and sparkles reminiscent of disco songs.

With a diverse discography and endearing performances, you’re sure to fall in love with GFriend and find something for you!  Unfortunately, GFriend disbanded in 2021. But you can still buy GFriend’s 5th mini album on Amazon.
